Quantitative Assessment of Hyperpigmentation Changes in Human Skin after Microneedle Mesotherapy Using the Gray-Level Co-Occurrence Matrix (GLCM) Method

Aim: The aim of the study was to quantitatively assess effectiveness microneedle mesotherapy in reducing skin discoloration. results were analyzed using gray-level co-occurrence matrix (GLCM) method. Material and methods: forearm (7 × 7 cm) 12 women aged 29 68 examined. Microneedle performed a dermapen with preparation containing 12% ascorbic acid. Each volunteers underwent series four treatments. treatment quantified methods image analysis processing. A clinical images taken cross-polarized light before after cosmetic procedures. Then, treated areas by determining parameters algorithm: contrast homogeneity.
